Our modern landside facility is designed to provide seamless and efficient cargo movement, with well-planned access, vehicle circulation, loading and unloading areas, and dedicated spaces for cargo handling. The facility offers a secure, spacious, and well-organized environment to support smooth cargo operations and ensure convenient access for customers, airlines, transporters, and other stakeholders.
Airside View
Our state-of-the-art airside facility is designed to support safe, secure, and efficient cargo handling operations with direct access to aircraft movement areas. The facility features dedicated cargo handling bays, streamlined vehicle access, and well-planned operational spaces to enable smooth transfer of cargo between the terminal and aircraft. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence, our airside infrastructure supports seamless cargo movement and reliable airline operations.

An 8-foot perimeter wall is required around Cargo Terminal 2.

Biometric Systems
Entry Access Points
In all Entering SHA Zones Biometric system is installed. Referring to Entry in Exports, Pharma And Outbound biometric systems are installed.
Additionally, from/To Airside access the Biometric systems are also installed in domestic and international sections.
DACS
(Decentralized access control system)
DACS (Decentralized access control system) access system will be used for access control procedures from/to airside/landside at the proposed cargo terminal.

Emergency Preparedness
Emergency Preparedness- The zones will have emergency procedure to handle potential temperatures fluctuations or equipment failures.
Three number of chillers are installed to cater the all required load of terminal. Where always two chiller will be working and one will be on standby for the emergency mode.
Fire
Alarm
- Fire alarm beam detector is installed in entire terminal, which will detect the smoke in case of fire and give a continuous alarm to vacate the place. It is designed zone wise to detect the emergency in required zone.
- Approx 1050 number of Fire sprinkler systems are installed all around the Terminal.
- Fire hydrants are installed in terminal for emergency as per the fire requirements.
- Fire extinguishers are installed as per the requirements
